The Boathouse Café is a popular stop for cyclists, bikers, and visitors exploring the Lake District. It’s the perfect place to refuel and take a well-earned break after a few hours in the saddle — enjoy a hot drink and a slice of delicious homemade cake on our terrace right beside the shores of Esthwaite Water.

Welcome to The Boathouse Café! We are excited to announce that we're now open for, delicious toasties, cakes, and hot drinks five days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Don’t miss our Pizza Nights every Saturday starting March 28th, from 1 PM to 7 PM, for takeout or dine-in. Enjoy your meals on our newly reinstalled pontoon, and if you have any group requirements, feel free to call Guy, our Café Manager, for assistance!
