Exclusive Coarse Fishing on Windermere

Private Fishing on England's Largest Natural Lake
Esthwaite Water Fisheries is proud to offer exclusive coarse fishing across three private stretches of Windermere, England's largest natural lake. Located along the beautiful south-western shoreline on the Graythwaite Estate, these secluded waters provide 30 private fishing pegs in breathtaking Lake District surroundings, perfectly complementing the renowned fishing at nearby Esthwaite Water.

Baswicks – Exclusive Day Ticket Fishing
Baswicks is our premier 10-peg day ticket venue and has earned a reputation as one of the country's most consistent big-fish waters. Known for exceptional catches of bream, quality roach, perch and hybrids, it offers anglers the chance to enjoy outstanding coarse fishing in peaceful, private surroundings.

Unlike public waters, every peg is reserved exclusively for the duration of your booking. Whether you're planning a day session, a weekend away or a longer fishing holiday, you can reserve your favourite peg, fish consecutive days without moving, pre-bait your swim and book alongside friends or family.

Baswicks also offers overnight fishing, allowing anglers to take advantage of the most productive feeding periods while experiencing the tranquillity and beauty of Windermere after dark.

Winter Pike Fishing
From 1st October to 31st March, Baswicks becomes an exceptional winter pike fishery. The deeper water and abundant natural food supply provide ideal conditions for predator fishing, giving anglers the opportunity to target impressive specimen pike against one of the Lake District's most spectacular backdrops.

Competitions & Group Bookings
Alongside Baswicks, Esthwaite Water Fisheries also manages two further private stretches at Cunsey Campsite and Grubbin's Point. Together, these venues provide 30 exclusive pegs, making Windermere an excellent destination for organised matches, fishing festivals, club events and group bookings.
